Digital photography comes to Photo Reflections
The digital revolution began making itself felt in the commercial photography field in the early nineties. We looked at it, researched it, thought about it, and jumped aboard in 1996.
Now we can capture your images using our state of the art Digital Capture cameras from Canon. We shoot very high resolution digital images for point of sale, client presentations, websites, circulars, sell sheets and ads. Since most end uses of advertising photography now involve conversion to digital at some point, starting that way saves our clients the time and cost of scanning chromes. No more film or film processing, it’s environmentally friendly!
We have set up four computer workstations in the studio: one for capture and three
networked computers for manipulation.
No more wasted days on a photo shoot! On a recent shoot our client said that we saved her a whole day’s work because we can manipulate the images as we shoot them and she could walk out with a disc – shot, placement and layout complete!
We try to keep each of our clients informed of estimated productions costs in advance of their occurrence. We are up front and honest about reproduction rights and business ethics in the photographic industry. We also do our utmost to keep costs in line and assist our clients in selecting the most efficient and effective means to achieve their photographic objectives.
We will let you know our opinions and recommendations concerning an assignment or setup, both from a technical and a creative standpoint. You, however, have the final decision.
To work with our clients as part of their creative team it’s important to know about the assignment … reproduction mechanical requirements, marketing strategies, changes, layouts, budget constraints … everything. The more we know, the better job we can do for you.
